What's included in the price
The Package

When you book your Autodirect Car Rentals vehicle you can be sure that the one price will include all of the following:
• Unlimited Mileage/Kilometers
• Airport Surcharges, local taxes i.e. VAT
• 24 hours road service
• Third Party Insurance (T.P.I)
• Fire & Theft insurance with NO excess
• One additional driver
• One child/baby seat (must be ordered)
• Road Maps
• Change of a car in case of mechanical breakdown (24 hour service)
• Radio or tape or CD players in all cars
• FDW : Insurance with no excess
• P.A.I :Personal Accident Insurance for passengers only, excluding the driver

NORTHERN PART OF CYPRUS NOT UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS
Autodirect Car Rentals strongly advices you not to travel there by car as insurance companies DO NOT offer any cover.

Autodirect Car Rentals is also unable to offer you there any support both in case of breakdown or an accident. Driving to the North occupied part of Cyprus is done on your own risk.

Autodirect Car Rentals has the right to claim from the Hirer any amount to cover the whole damages caused in the Northern occupied part of Cyprus.

Payments:
The following credit cards are accepted: MasterCard, VISA,AMEX.

The credit used for reservation must be presented upon collecting car.

Please note that all charges locally will be in € Euro.

Driver requirements:
Minimum age of driver is 24 years. Drivers under 25 years have to have had a valid driver's license for minimum 3 years.

Maximum age of driver is 75 years. Age limits will show on the available car page.

Exceptions To An All Inclusive Insurance
Charges for any of the damages below will be charged directly to the client, the most important are the following: Antenna, trays, damage to car lock , loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, glass, mirrors, wheels, tires, interior of the car, spare key and car jack, hubcap, lights, gas cap, warning triangles, damage to the upholstery of the car, damages to the roof, damages caused by roof racks, extreme dirtiness in the car, underside damage, personal belongings in the rented car, damage due to negligence, tire punctures and burst tires, fuel errors, damage to child seats and baby seats, lack of electricity because of forgotten turn on electrical devices, loss of the car documents, loss of registration plate, the car rental company, in any case, is not obligated in replacing a flat tyre or damages in radio. Towing costs are not covered by any insurance. Local laws govern the terms and conditions of hiring vehicles and the rental contract signed on collection of the car is legally binding on the hirer. Damage caused by drunk driving or negligent driving will never be excluded from the client's direct responsibilities. Autodirect Car Rentals will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving or driving without due care and attention or damages caused by negligence. The client will accept direct responsibility in respect of such claims.

Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence.
This may result in a charge to the client.

Deposits
Customers will be asked to supply a major credit card for deposits of fuel and/or extras, should the customer not possess a major credit card, a cash sum amounting to the approximate value of the fuel and extras may be required.

Flight Information
It is essential for airport pickups that the correct flight number and arrival time be advised before the customer departs. In the event that this information is not available at the time of booking please be sure to advise ‘Autodirect Car Rentals’ at least 3 days prior to departure. Although ‘Autodirect Car Rentals’ will always do its utmost to ensure a car is available for the customer on arrival, no responsibility will be accepted or compensation offered for a failed rental due to the customer providing information late.

Upgrades
Customers may upgrade to another class of vehicle locally upon arrival. Upgrades are subject to availability and fees for upgrades will be determined locally at time of rental. Customers must pay all fees for upgrade locally and local Tour Representatives shall not discourage customers from upgrading.

Special Requests
Child Seats – are required by law for small children. Child seats should be requested at time of booking, all confirmed requests are guaranteed.
All special request items are to be paid for locally.

Number of Passengers
All cars are insured for a maximum number of passengers, information on the number of passengers a vehicle can carry is available at time of booking or locally when the car is collected. Should this number be exceeded, the customer’s insurance shall become invalid. The customer is responsible for ensuring the car they rent is of an adequate size for all passengers and luggage.

Provision of Cars
Local licensees can refuse to supply a vehicle should they in their reasonable opinion deem the driver to be in anyway unfit to drive the vehicle. In these cases your contract will be terminated immediately and no further compensation given.

Car Type/Suitability
Specific make and model of cars cannot be guaranteed; the cars appearing on vouchers are for guidance only and may be substituted locally for an alternative similar or upgraded car. The customer is responsible for ensuring the car group they rent is of an adequate size for all passengers and luggage.

Additional Hours/Extensions
Autodirect Car Rentals offers a 30 minutes grace period. After the grace period the rate will default to the locations local daily rates and will be charged outside of the pre-paid voucher directly to the renter.

Refunds and Cancellations
All cancellations must be transmitted to the Autodirect Reservations Department prior to the commencement of the rental. In the event that a reservation has not been cancelled in advance or if a customer fails to collect a vehicle or if a vehicle is returned early, there will be no refunds for any unused rental days and the voucher will be invoiced for the full rental value as booked.

Payment Terms
All prices are in EURO including 15% VAT.

Early Returns
Please note that there are no refunds given for vehicles returned before the specified return date/time as stated on the voucher.

Notes:
1)Deposit is non refundable once the order is placed
2)The renter shall not take the car or allow the same to be taken outside the area controlled by the government of the Republic of Cyprus . All the insurances exclude damage caused by driving on any loose surface roads . Any damage thus caused will be the client’s responsibility.
